On Friday, April 21, 2017, over 50 legal professionals descended upon the National American University- Rapid City campus to attend the annual Black Hills Legal Professionals Association’s (BHLPA) annual education seminar. Several Sioux Falls paralegal professionals utilized NAU’s synchronous learning technology to attend and many NAU Paralegal Studies students also actively participated in the event.

The BHLPA holds this annual seminar not only to help legal professionals fulfill continuing legal education requirements but to offer a wonderful networking opportunity for its members and guests. Six accomplished attorneys educated and entertained attendees over the course of the entire day. Many left impressed with NAU’s facilities, technological capabilities and with a better understanding of the University’s mission.

NAU Paralegal Studies students were afforded a future glimpse of their chosen profession and an opportunity to acquaint with practicing legal professionals.
