National American University for the Military Student

National American University is proud to have served students affiliated with the U.S. military since 1941. If you've served your country and earned funds to support your continuing education, NAU understands how you might access military benefits and can help you make it happen. NAU is approved for veteran's training and is a member of the Service Members of Opportunities Colleges (SOCAD).

NAU's programs and services enable you to secure full credit for your military education and experience. You may be surprised at just how quickly you can complete your studies. NAU arranges the quickest path to degree and full credit for your military education by taking advantage of American Council on Education (ACE) credit assessment services. ACE continuously evaluates military schools, correspondence courses and occupations to determine the amount and level of academic credit each should be awarded. Through ACE credits, you can take academic credit for most of the training you have received, including basic training, and you can reduce the time required and cost for your studies.

Military Benefits
You can make your studies even more affordable by making sure that you take advantage of your Tuition Assistance (TA) funding. Armed Forces TA funds are available to eligible members of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard. You may also be qualified for GI Bill funding to cover tuition costs not already covered by TA. In all cases, eligibility for military benefits is dependent on your completion of application requirements as administered by your branch of the armed forces. You may be surprised at just how far along in our programs you might start, and just how affordable NAU can be as you continue your studies.

For more information about how to get credit for your military education, contact an admissions representative at a location near you to get started today.
