NAU Denver services a diverse student body. Study groups and private tutoring reinforce the classroom presentations. Students purchase refreshments at the student senate sponsored store where school supplies are also available. Faculty, staff, and students take pleasure in the annual fundraiser to the mountains; the distinctive tastes at the semi-annual cultural potluck and the landmark tours of the great state of Colorado.

At National American University the student organizations are student-run. Students have the ability to organize any type of group, as long as is ultimately benefits all students and adheres to university guidelines for conduct. Library
The assistant to the academic dean is currently in charge of the materials and resources available to you at the Denver campus. We have a variety of current periodical subscriptions as well as numerous reference books. Students can also use the computers in the library annex to access online resources, subscribed to by the university for student use. The annex is open during operating hours and the library can be accessed with permission from any university staff member.
School Closings
Occasionally the university has reason to cancel classes in extreme weather or emergencies. When this happens we will attempt to contact students by phone, but because the decision is rarely made before 4:00 pm, we advise all students to watch and listen to the following TV and radio stations:
WB2, Channel 4, KYGO 98.5, KCKK 104.3, KQKS 107.5, and KKFN 950.
