This degree is intended for the information technology student who wants to focus on computer programming and software/applications development. Focus is on the development of computer applications for business, industry, and education that run on computerized devices. As with all information technology degrees, a wide range of job opportunities are available. Graduates of this program will have an advantage in their ability to use the development of computer applications to get the job done.
This program is offered online, with support services provided by the NAU locations listed below. Classes are offered as follows:
Online Classes Only – Students may not take any on-ground classes at the following locations:
Indianapolis, Indiana; Garden City, Overland Park, Wichita, and Wichita West, Kansas; Bloomington, Brooklyn Center, Burnsville, Minnetonka, Rochester, and Roseville, Minnesota; Independence, Lee's Summit, and Zona Rosa, Missouri; Bellevue, Nebraska; Albuquerque and Albuquerque West, New Mexico; Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Allen, Texas.
On-Ground Classes Permissible – In addition to online classes, students may take on-ground classes at the following locations:
Centennial, Colorado Springs, and Colorado Springs South, Colorado; Ellsworth AFB, Rapid City, Sioux Falls, and Watertown, South Dakota; Austin, Austin South, Georgetown, Houston, Lewisville, Mesquite, and Richardson, Texas.
