“Working as a CNA for the past 6 years, Shakiera was needing a career change. Being able to get signed up right away for the Phlebotomy course is what helped motivate Shakiera to get started with NAU. “I chose NAU because they worked with me due to financial reasons and there wasn’t a waiting list to get signed up for classes.” Once Shakiera graduates she plans on getting certified and then wants to work in a clinic until she is able to start her nursing program."
