Graduates of accredited programs are eligible to take the national certification exam to become a Certified Medical Assistant CMA (AAMA) after the completion of your associate degree
The medical assisting programs offered at Albuquerque, Austin, Bellevue, Bloomington, Brooklyn Center, Colorado Springs, Georgetown, Independence, Overland Park, Roseville, Sioux Falls, Tulsa, Wichita, and Zona Rosa are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) on the recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB). About Wichita (East Campus)
National American University’s Wichita campus is conveniently located in northeast Wichita and has been serving students in the area since 2007. The Wichita campus offers the convenience of on ground classes, online classes, or a combination of both. Students can pursue an associate or bachelor's degree in a wide variety of programs.
