National American University (NAU) encourages all students,
employees and university community members to be fully aware
of the safety and security issues on all of its campuses and
to take action to prevent and to report illegal and inappropriate
activities. National American University firmly believes
that personal safety practices are the foundation of a safe campus
community.
Therefore, and pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus
Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, National American
University (1) monitors criminal activity, (2) publishes this
annual report, and (3) maintains a three-year statistical history
on all its campuses and at off-campus property or facilities
owned or rented by NAU or recognized university organizations. The
university will distribute a copy of and/or provide access to
this report pursuant to the Clery Act, including notifying prospective
students and prospective employees of its availability and, further,
providing a copy of the report upon written request.
