Are there registration deadlines?
NAU operates on a quarter system. The registration deadline for courses is typically one-week prior to the start of the course. If you are receiving federal financial aid, you must register for all courses two weeks prior to the start of the quarter.

How do I register for classes?

How do online courses compare with classroom courses?
Online courses are regular college credit courses that differ from classroom courses in the mode of delivery (the Internet). All courses, whether online or face-to-face, have a syllabus identifying all information that will be covered throughout the class.

No, many of our programs can be finished completely online or on-campus, or a combination of both to fit your busy lifestyle.

How long do I have to complete a course?
Each course is either 8 or 11 weeks long. All course work must be completed within the specific time frame for the particular course.

How quickly can I get my degree?
It will vary depending on which degree program you are in; however, with classes starting every 11 weeks, you may be able to finish your degree in less time than you may think.

What do I need to know about tuition rates and fees?

How do I get a transcript?
You must make a written request to receive a transcript. Include the name you attended under, social security number, dates of attendance and where you want your transcript mailed. Each transcript costs $10.00.
