Is National American University accredited?
Yes, NAU is regionally accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (ncahlc.org) and has been in existence since 1941.  National American University has also received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), located in Lenexa, Kansas, USA.

Is there an application fee?

How do I find out which degree programs are offered at a location near me or online?
All NAU’s graduate programs are offered online.

Are there registration deadlines?
NAU operates on a quarter system. The registration deadline for courses is typically one-week prior to the start of the course. If you are receiving federal financial aid, you must register for all courses two weeks prior to the start of the quarter.  (Link to grad calendar)

How do I register for classes?
Once you have completed the application process, you may register for classes online by going to https://mycampus.national.eduand clicking on the appropriate link. Financial arrangements must be made prior to class start.

Am I eligible for financial aid?
Yes, you will be eligible for federal financial aid if you qualify. You can also contact your local civic and professional organizations to learn more about scholarships and assistance programs.

How long do I have to complete a course?
Each course is 11 weeks long.  All course work must be completed within the specific time frame for the particular course.

How quickly can I get my degree?
It will vary depending on how many courses you take each term.  A degree can be completed in as little as 12 months.

What do I need to know about tuition rates and fees?
Tuition can be paid by cash, money order, through tuition assistance, or major credit card and generally must be paid in full at the time of registration. NAU does not have in-state and out-of-state tuition. To find out more about tuition and fees, contact 877-398-0118.

Can I transfer in any courses to this program from other universities?
In most cases, yes, the transfer of course work is evaluated on a case-by-case basis by NAU, and must be from an accredited institution.

Can I get transfer credit for previous training or work experience?
No, credit for previous training and/or work experience is not available

Can I transfer any courses from this program to other universities?
