Course Description

A Medication Aide will assist residents in long term care (LTC), assisted living homes, or non-hospital settings. This individual will be able to administer medications to residents under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. Students must have an active, current Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Minnesota to enroll in this course. This course is designed to prepare students to take the Medication Aide Certification Examination (MACE).

Students will have 12 weeks to complete this fully online course.
