NAU’s Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Emphasis in Database Administration program, prepares you for a rewarding career in the IT sector. The need for efficient and secure data management in nearly every industry has never been greater. The emphasis core of this program provides the skills required to develop and maintain well-designed database systems. From design to implementation and future capacity planning this program will prepare you to manage the tasks required of a Database Administrator. In addition, the major core of this program provides a broader range of knowledge and skills in IT, opening up a wider range of possibilities for career paths within the IT field.
This program is offered online and through the Bellevue, Colorado Springs, Ellsworth AFB, Killeen and Richardson campuses. Students in this program may not take any on-ground classes at Bellevue. Course availability is subject to minimum class size requirements.
