Currently Animal Sciences programs are only offered at the Rapid City campus.

The National American University Veterinary Technology program is accredited by the AVMA as a program for educating veterinary technicians. The information below lists the pass rate on the Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE) for certification.

July 1, 2013 - June 30, 2016
Number of eligible first-time candidates - 27
Number of first-time candidates that have taken the VTNE - 15
Three-year VTNE pass percentage - 73.3%
