Massage therapy

Therapeutic Massage

NAU's diploma program in therapeutic massage offers a well-rounded curriculum with an excellent balance between lectures and experiential courses. With a solid grounding in anatomy and physiology of the human body, this program is strong on the basics, so it builds strong foundations for students. As a student, you will have optimal opportunities to develop your 'touch' skills with hands-on learning techniques. Best of all, this program gets you out into the working world quickly, because it is designed to be completed in as little as 12 months if attending classes full-time. After that, as a student you can continue on part time to earn NAU's AAS degree in therapeutic massage, while you are already enjoying a career in the field.

Massage therapy is great for relieving stress, healing injuries, improving posture, and much more. There always has been and always will be a high demand for massage therapists, since so many physicians recommend massage therapy to their patients. It's an incredibly rewarding career to be able to help others relax from the stress of the day and improve their mood and health. We have colleges near Minneapolis offering this program. So if you want to get started with your hands-on training, now is the time!
