Learn More About Our Nursing Programs
Nursing care is essential to the health and well-being of all people. When you make the decision to become a nurse, you make a commitment not only to your future patients, but to yourself as well. Advances in the nursing profession occur at a high rate; when you choose a healthcare career, you make a lifelong commitment to learning.
The NAU School of Nursing offers the following nursing programs:
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
The goal of each program is to provide education which leads to nurses who can ensure quality patient care. Our faculty and staff are committed to assist you as you enter the nursing profession and transform individual learning and interests into the professional world of service.
All nursing students are expected to comply with the student policies of both the university and the School of Nursing (SON).
The SON student handbook is supplemental to the NAU student handbook and the NAU undergraduate and graduate catalogs.
For pre-licensure nursing students:
Nursing foundational core students are guided by the NAU undergraduate catalog and the NAU student handbook. When students enter the nursing clinical core, they are also expected to comply with the SON program policies and guidelines as stated in the NAU SON student handbook.
Online RN to BSN students are guided by the NAU undergraduate catalog, the NAU student handbook, and the SON student handbook.
Online MSN students are guided by the NAU graduate catalog, the NAU student handbook, and the SON student handbook.
