Student Learning Outcomes

Online RN to BSN

Full approval was granted by the South Dakota Board of Nursing.  The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at National American University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, One Dupont Circle, NW, Suite 530, Washington DC 20036, (202) 887-6791.

General education courses are offered online and at Albuquerque, Bloomington, Brooklyn Center, Colorado Springs, Independence, Overland Park, Rio Rancho, Roseville, Sioux Falls, Watertown, Wichita, and Zona Rosa campuses.

The online program is offered through NAU Distance Learning in all states except Tennessee.

Note: Students must have an associate degree or diploma in nursing with a 2.5 cumulative grade point average (CGPA) or above and a current RN license.

Today’s dynamic and diverse healthcare environment requires professional nurses who can champion health promotion and disease prevention, function effectively in ambiguous, unpredictable and complex environments, demonstrate critical thinking and flexibility, and execute a variety of roles throughout a lifetime career.  The National American University RN to BSN program is designed for RNs with an associate degree or diploma who seek a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

The National American University RN to BSN program builds on the student’s past education and experience.  This program offers a flexible and practical way for RNs to expand their knowledge and prepare for leadership positions in a variety of healthcare settings.  It also provides the skills and credentials necessary to pursue graduate education.

Student Learning Outcomes
