We know many of you are starting classes this week and we want to equip you with some helpful resources right out of the gate. Whether you are an online student, on campus, or both, we have great ways for you to meet your classmates, get help on your assignments or courses and connect with the university.

  1. Access the Writing Center (and gain writing skills!)
    Struggling with how to do your first research paper? Not sure what APA formatting is or how to use it? The writing center can not only answer these vital questions but also give access to video tutorials with examples of the writing process.
  2. Know Your Tutoring Options! Whether you attend a ground campus, online, or even both NAU wants you to be successful. Smarthinking tutoring services are available through for online courses for FREE through your D2L classroom. On-campus tutors are also available for students. Please reach out to your academic advisor for more information on the tutoring options.
  3. Join the NAU Social Community
    One of the best ways to be successful in class is by reaching out and connecting with other students and alumni via your favorite social media sites. Find us on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram!
  4. Technical Support at Your Fingertips
