NAU Enjoys Outreach and Networking at Brooklyn Center Community Event

star-header

NAU-Brooklyn Center campus employees, Danielle Heinert, Director of Enrollment and Completion, and Diana Igo, Campus Director, participated in the 2017 City of Brooklyn Center Kick-Off Party.
The City of Brooklyn Center hosts the kick-off party at Centennial Park for all Brooklyn Center community members, as a prelude to National Night Out.  The event was a huge success, and provided Danielle and Diana the opportunity to network, and connect with the Brooklyn Center Mayor, City Manager, and City Representative.

Further, we were provided the opportunity to meet business leaders at local businesses, including Target (one of the sponsors of the event), and key representatives from several Hennepin County Service Organizations.  We had multiple future NAU students attend our booth, and we are looking forward to assisting them in developing a Career Action Plan!
