That’s why we encourage you to research the multitude of scholarships available, including those offered by NAU. NAU Undergraduate Scholarships

New NAU Students 

Fall 2017 NAU Foundation Business Career Scholarship
$1,500 scholarship opportunity now available for a new NAU student who starts in fall 2017 and is pursuing a business or accounting degree. Applications and required materials must be received no later than September 5, 2017. Complete criteria and application requirements are available at here.

New and Current Students 

2017/18 NAU Brown Mackie College Graduated Student Scholarship
Available to students who graduated with a Diploma or Associate degree from Brown Mackie College (BMC) during their most recent enrollment with BMC after 5/31/16 and are new students with NAU through Fall 2018. Submit the following application using EchoSign: 2017/18 NAU Brown Mackie College Graduated Student Scholarship (All locations) 

2017/18 SD Education Access Foundation Award Available to Independent students at the Ellsworth AFB, Online, Rapid City, Sioux Falls, and Watertown campuses only. Download information regarding this award.

NAU Veteran’s Yellow Ribbon Scholarship NAU participates in the Yellow Ribbon Scholarship program for eligible recipients of Chapter 33 Veteran’s benefits.  NAU will award a limited number of Chapter 33 Veterans a Yellow Ribbon Scholarship for up to ½ the amount of tuition and fees not paid by Chapter 33 benefits per term.  If the student meets the following eligibility requirements:

  • Entitled to the maximum benefit rate for Chapter 33
  • Served an aggregate period of 36 months of active duty after September 10, 2001
  • Honorably discharged from active duty for a service-connected disability and you served 30 continuous days after September 10, 2001
  • Dependent eligible for transfer of entitlement under the Post-9/11 GI Bill in which the service member was entitled to the maximum benefit rate for Chapter 33
  • Please contact militaryfinance@national.edu for further details.

Current NAU Students
2017/18 NAU Academic Excellence Award
This scholarship opportunity is for students who have achieved high academic progress while attending NAU. Several awards are available for students. The NAU Foundation Undergraduate Academic Excellence Award application and criteria will be available on February 22, 2017, at the NAU Foundation Website.

2017/18 NAU Research Paper Scholarship
The NAU Research Scholarship is a tuition scholarship for NAU undergraduate students. Undergraduate papers written as a result of an assignment for an NAU class during the 2016/17 academic year (June 2016-May 2017) may be eligible if they meet the scholarship criteria. Download information regarding this scholarship: NAU Research Paper Scholarship

2017/18 NAU Affiliate/Corporate Scholarship Program
This scholarship is for students who have graduated from an Affiliate College or are employed by a Partner Company or Affiliate college. Please see your Financial Service Representative for a current listing of Partner Companies and Affiliate Colleges.

2017/18 NAU South Texas College Graduate Scholarship

2017/18  NAU Ultimate Medical Academy Scholarship

NAU Doctoral Degree Scholarships

New and Current Students
2017/18 NAU Doctoral Scholarship (DOCS) This scholarship opportunity is for students who are employed by an Institution who provides 40% or more of the total cost of tuition for the entire Doctoral Program. Download information this scholarship: 2017/18 NAU Doctoral Scholarship (DOCS)

2017/18 NAU National Community College Advisory Board Scholarship (DTRIC) This scholarship is awarded by the NAU Foundation. Please see the NAU Foundation website at www.naufoundation.org/scholarships/ for further information.
