This includes a reduced military tuition rate NAU offers to active duty military, spouses, family members and those who have retired from military service (see Military Tuition Programs).

Military Tuition Program
NAU makes pursuing education easy and affordable by offering a reduced military tuition rate and by understanding your military benefits.

  • Reduced Military tuition rate:
    $166.66 per undergraduate credit hour
    $260 per graduate credit hour

All unexpired United States Uniformed Services ID card carriers are eligible for the military tuition rate.

  • No charge for any instructional or technology fees
  • Military benefits accepted:
    MTA, GI Bill, Post 9/11 GI Bill, Top Up, spouse tuition programs, and others

NAU makes getting your education easy by partnering with military organizations when possible.

Transfer Credit
NAU works with the American Council on Education (ACE) to help ensure appropriate evaluation for credit of your military education… Depending on your program, through ACE you may be able to get academic credit for some of the training you have received.
