Spring Classes Start March 9th!

Remember that New Year’s resolution you made only one month ago? New Year = New You? Now that the holidays have passed and we’re already into February, it’s time to make your New Year’s resolution happen!

The springtime can be great timing for students to start classes again. Maybe you just graduated from high school and wanted to take some time off or you’re a working adult with a family and now is better timing for you to get started. You could simply have personal reasons why you want to get your degree but whatever your reason may be, it’s important to be prepared before classes begin.

First, what interests you?

When I was an Admissions Advisor, this was a pivotal question I would always ask students before they even applied. Why did you request information? What is it about your current job or personal situation that makes you desire change? Have you thought about what you could see yourself doing as a long-term career not just a job? A lot of the time the student wanted to have more job stability, increase in pay, promotional opportunities, certifications, or wanting to set a better example for my children.

At NAU, we want our students to succeed not only in the classroom, but after graduation as well. Below are the top 10 programs that our student population is enrolled in.

  2. Bachelor of Science – Healthcare Management

Applying for a Spring Start

At NAU we operate under the quarter system, which means we have a start date for every season; spring, summer, fall, and winter. We are currently accepting applications for the March 9th spring start date. This helps provide students with the opportunity to get started or finish your degree before having to wait until the traditional fall start.

There is no application fee when you’ll apply to NAU and you will have a personal advisor from day one to help you throughout your admission and financial paperwork process. If you are interested in transferring to NAU this spring, you must first speak to an advisor before applying online. Then, you may request official transcripts. To apply to NAU, you will need:

  • An official transcript (needed only if you’ve attended a previous college)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • A completed student application for admissions
  • Financial paperwork completed
