Meet Cheryl Bullinger, Executive Director of Compliance

For more than four decades, Cheryl Bullinger has been a dedicated member of the National American University family. With 43 years of service, she has witnessed the university’s growth, evolution, and continued commitment to helping students achieve their educational goals.

Throughout her career, Cheryl has remained passionate about her work and the opportunity to contribute to the university’s mission every day.

Finding Joy in the Work

Ask Cheryl what motivates her, and her answer is refreshingly simple.

“I love my work! Passion is energy, and it helps me achieve my work goals.”

That enthusiasm has helped sustain a career spanning more than four decades—an accomplishment that reflects not only dedication, but also a genuine love for serving students and supporting the university community.

Advice for Students

Cheryl believes education creates opportunities that can last a lifetime. She shares this quote from Malcolm X as encouragement for every student pursuing their goals:

Her favorite hobby is baking, with breads and pastries among her specialties. Creating homemade baked goods is one of the ways she shares her talents and brings joy to others.
