Accounting is a core program for any educational institution that is serious about business, and it's no different at National American University. The Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree program is an excellent program that provides you with the preparation needed to sit for the certified managerial accounting (CMA) exam as well as the certified public accountant (CPA) exam in those states not requiring the fifth year of education. If you plan to take the exam in these states, you will take the CPA review courses as part of your bachelor’s degree in accounting. As a graduate with a bachelor's degree in accounting, many career opportunities exist as private accountants for corporations, partnerships, sole proprietorships, government agencies or non-profit organizations.
