Accounting Online Associate Degree
The accounting online associate degree provides specialized education for various entry-level accounting positions. Graduates may find employment as accounting technicians, payroll clerks, bookkeepers or clerical assistants in business, government, or nonprofit organizations. With experience, students may qualify for more advanced positions, such as payroll supervisor or tax specialist.
This program is also an excellent foundation for students who may wish to pursue a bachelor’s in accounting.
Graduates of the program will:
- Apply generally accepted accounting principles to routine financial accounting activities.
- Update and maintain accounting records to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Use current technology and computer applications in support of business.
