NAU announces new branding, “The American Way”


NAU recently announced a new brand, “The American Way,” to better reflect the university’s story and mission, and to adapt to the needs of the modern student.
“The American Way” embodies NAU’s belief that everyone has the right to an education. NAU’s values include: opportunity of a college education, freedom for students to learn on their own terms, support to help guide students, individualism to follow their own path, excellence in programs and standards, and success through hard work.

The majority of NAU’s students are working adults, with family and work obligations. While the school was originally founded to serve the returning Veteran community in the 1940s, today’s students have even more time challenges than previous generations and seek training in new fields that complements their schedules and real-life experience.
