Criminal Justice Online Associate Degree Kansas City, MO
The Criminal justice online associate degree provides students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to succeed in a criminal justice career and prepares them for entry-level employment in policing, courts, and corrections. The online criminal justice associate degree may also be used to meet a requirement for entry-level employment in various criminal justice agencies or leveraged for higher-skilled employment and higher pay scales. Potential employment opportunities include police patrol officer, court clerk, court bailiff, correctional officer, probation or parole officer and some federal positions with the requisite law enforcement experience. Additional training will be required for policing and institutional corrections employment.
Graduates of the program will:

- Apply legal principles to the police, courts, and correctional components of the criminal justice system.
- Apply ethical decision-making models and professional standards to criminal justice situations.
