Management Master’s Degree Copy
The management online master’s degree (MM) enables students to expand their knowledge and skills base in the area of management. The program helps students develop a well-rounded portfolio of management knowledge, skills and abilities, along with a holistic view of the organization. Program specialty areas include criminal justice management, e-marketing, healthcare administration, higher education administration, higher education teaching and learning, human resource management, information technology management, operations and configuration management, project and process management, advanced incident and consequence management, advanced security management, strategic security management.
The MM degree may be earned under a non-thesis or a thesis plan.
Non-thesis Option
Student must satisfy the preparatory requirements and complete 31.5 hours of master’s-level core courses and 13.5 hours of electives.
MM Thesis Option
Students must complete 31.5 hours of master’s-level core courses, 4.5 hours of electives, and nine hours of thesis.
The thesis is an essential component of master’s-level coursework and an opportunity for students to examine a management topic, become subject matter experts, and contribute to that body of knowledge. Students work with a graduate adviser to notify the dean and select a thesis advisor.
Graduates of the program will:
- Be able to evaluate concepts in the principal areas of business to develop operational business policies.

- Be able to demonstrate the leadership skills required to achieve a multi-dimensional business strategy.
- Be able to evaluate an appropriate code of ethics for a global business environment.

- Be able to productively collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups.
